Yes!  Your benefit card can be redeemed for a single covered therapy or any combination of covered therapies, for that province/territory.

The same benefit card can be used for subsequent prescription refills and renewals until you no longer require the support of the program, have secured public or private drug insurance coverage or the closure of the program by Novo Nordisk.

Benefit cards will expire 1-year post-enrolment.

To ensure there is no lapse in coverage, you must re-enrol into the program.  You will be contacted by the Program to remind you to re-enrol.

The Novo Nordisk Care Program covers the cost of the medicine made by Novo Nordisk as well as mark-up and dispensing fees equivalent to those paid by the provincial public payers.

The cost at the pharmacy may vary depending on the various mark-ups added by individual wholesalers and pharmacies along the distribution chain.  You may be responsible for any additional charges at the pharmacy.
